Success is not a lottery, it is hard work. That is the truth people and a lot of people who want to become entrepreneurs by leveraging the internet have totally wrong belief systems about this.
Within the online marketing and network marketing industry, some people, for some reason really think that it is easier than the life they are living now.
There is a concept that our business and making money online is akin to a lottery ticket and if we hit it right, we will become rich and successful.
A lot of folk seem to truly belief that if they join a certain programme, or get involved in a certain opportunity that wealth and success will mysteriously fall on their lap. That somehow they will become successful.
However, it takes a lot of hard work and sweat to make things work. And you had better realise that.
You have all heard of the term 'sweat equity'! Well it is certainly true. There is most definitely equity in sweat.
Sweating it day in day out, taking on new challenges and growing your business everyday (and you cannot avoid this) equals all of your assets.
And once you know that you have to sweat to reach your goals, you will develop skills that will benefit you forever.
The hard work that you put in, creates the value and results in your business and life. So why avoid it?
Ask yourself, have you ever avoided certain tasks? For example, setting up a blog, dealing with someone on Elance or Odesk, whatever. Skirt around these tasks and and you are missing the entire point.
So what should you do?
Well, if you are brand new, YOU need to reach out and only then will someone take you by the hand and show you what to do.
But as you well know, just being shown something is not enough. I mean, you do not become a great tennis player just by watching someone play over and over again.
The only way you will ever learn is by DOING. You did not learn to ride a bike just by watching someone did you!
You have to DO to LEARN. This is the ONLY way to improve yourself and gain the assets to be a success for as long as you live.
I can guarantee you that if you took ALL the assets from say Richard Branson, or Donald Trump..that within one year, they would be making millions again.
Why?
Because they have the put in the sweat and tears to learn skills that will pay them for a lifetime. And that is what we all must do if we want to truly reach our goals.
Put in the time to develop the skills. Once you realise this, then you will not dread the hours that you will have to put in to learn how to do something... such as design a capture page,and instead your attitude will change and you will realise that the hard work itself is the gateway to your freedom.
The more difficult the work is, the bigger the payoff is. So you really want your work to feel hard and challenging as you know it will lead to you to achieve the best results.
Now I will admit, a lot of this depends on what stage you are at. If you are brand new to marketing, then perhaps putting an ad up on Facebook is hard. So that is something you want to master until it becomes second nature.
Then you want to figure out how to get a decent Click through rate. And so on.
There will be certain things beyond your threshold depending on where you are at. But work towards harder tasks step by step.
Spend as much time as you can to reach your goals. Commit all you can to your goals.
